If It All Goes Crashing Into The Sea…..

I love music.
A Lot.

Music is one of those areas in life where I can lose myself. I think it’s safe to say for a lot of people music touches their lives in a similar way. It can drive our emotions. Awaken our memories. It can make us throw up our hands and dance or shed quiet tears. It can be beautiful, it can be tragic, and it be can be everything in-between.

Music is Art that flows.I heard this song recently and knew it was going to be one of “those” songs. The kind I have to turn up to drown out everything else. The kind that speaks to me on many different volumes.

The kind that inspires the spider-web of thought.

Like ships in the night
you keep passing me by
We’re just wasting time
trying to prove whose right
And if it all goes crashing into the sea
If it’s just you and me
trying to find the light…..

The very first thought I had was of my marriage. My husband. Of Love and what Love means. What Love looks like, sounds like, acts like. How many of us in life are passing by someone we love? Lost in the dark, trying not to crash, trying to hold onto something so tightly that we completely miss what we are letting go of in the process.

And it made me think of patterns. Patterns that we see in our lives. How to fight. How to love. How to survive. The reality is there are so many of us that are struggling. What our eyes have seen and what our hearts crave are completely opposite of one another.
I’m gonna find my way
Back to your side….

The beautiful thing. There is lighthouse to guide us. He is the Way, The Truth, and The Light.

I’m rambling a little. I guess at the end of this, I just really want to share this song. Because I think it’s a positive message.

A reminder to not pass one another in the dark.
